Meiji era, just when the whole nation was at peace, a mysterious shadow secretly lurks around the Tokyo prefecture. That shadow is none other than the strongest mythical beast, Kyuubi no Kitsune, the nine-tailed fox.
   
A beautiful maiden was sent from mainland China to stop and destroy this mythical beast, her name is Painyan and she came to challenge the enemy into a deadly game of mahjong. However, she must first collect pieces of the Mystic Gem before she can hope to defeat the Kyuubi no Kitsune.

● Information

Chukana Janshi Tenhou Painyan Remix is a sister title to the Idol Janshi Suchi Pai series which involves defeating your opponents in a game of mahjong to unlock sexy content. This game incorporates new functions to the normal game of mahjong, like the use of "Special Skills" to cheat your way into winning and the "Search Mode" where you can touch your opponents in delicate areas and watch their reactions.

The main protagonist of the story. She was sent from China to Japan by Kankan and Ranran to destroy the nine-tailed fox in a deadly game of Mahjong. She transform into Painyan before engaging in battle.

Measurements: Bust: 88cm / Waist: 60cm / Hips: 87cm

This is Rin's other form. She transform into Painyan everytime she goes to battle so she can use her special skills that could help her in winning the game. Those skills are:

• Tenjou Tenge. This skill can only be activated at the beginning of the round. Your starting hand will be a complete set, allowing you to declare a win at the very beginning. Score ranges from Yakuman to Double Yakuman.
• Tengen Zettou. This skill can only be activated after declaring a Riichi. This skill assures you that you will get a Double Riichi, hence you'll get the winning tile the following turn.
• Gekka Joujin. This skill can only be activated after your opponent declares a Ron on the tile you discarded. Negate the Ron and continue as if Ron was never declared.

A young onmyouji and the direct descendant of the legendary figure, Abe no Seimei. Although she is just a little girl, she talks in such a dignified manner that she sounds like an old man. She teams up with Rin in order to prevent the revival of the Kyuubi no Kitsune. 

• Her skill can be activated after you win a round, it increases your total points by a certain margin to inflict additional damage to your opponent.

Her outside appearance may look like a normal waitress working at a small restaurant named "Anna" but she's actually a skilled shinobi, a female ninja.

• Her skill can only be activated at the beginning of the round. Your starting hand will have a hidden Pon, or three tiles of the same kind.

Measurements: Bust: 98cm / Waist: 65cm / Hips: 90cm

She's actually a raccon dog shape-shifting as a human girl. She runs a shabby junk shop in Akiba where Rin saw her goods and grabbed them after a game of mahjong. She tags along afterwards in hopes that Rin would pay her someday with money.

• Her skill can be activated anytime when you're in Tenpai or when you only need one tile to win. This skill allows you to declare a Ron on any tile you need that is on your opponent's discard pool.

Measurements: Bust: 78cm / Waist: 57cm / Hips: 84cm

She's a spring-powered automata from France, a moving machine made in imitation of a human being. She has developed self-consciousness without understanding the reason behind it and likes to refer to herself as a mahjong instructor.

• Her skill can be activated when your opponent declares a Tsumo after drawing the winning tile. Negate the draw and discard the tile, the tile is then destroyed and can never be used for the remainder of the round.

Measurements: Bust: 100cm / Waist: 75cm / Hips: 90cm

A swordsman who cosplays as a member of Shinsen Gumi even though he's not really a member of the group. He fell in love with Painyan at first sight and decides to tag along with Rin on her quest.

• His skill can be activated after you declare a Kan. The Dora in the dead wall will be based on the current tiles in your hand. Good for Dora bombing.

A young lady who acts like a princess. Youko Shirogane's adopted daughter and the host for the revival of the Kyuubi no Kitsune.

• Her skill activates during your last turn while you are in Tenpai and needs only 1 tile to win. The last tile you draw will be the winning tile.

Measurements: Bust: 86cm / Waist: 59cm / Hips: 80cm

The leader of a ninja clan that once serve the Edo Shogunate. He now serves the Shirogane family and tries to stop Rin from getting all the Mystic Gems.

• His skill activates anytime you draw a tile. Discard the tile you just drew.

Personal Data: Age: 21 years old / Height: 165cm / Weight: 42kg

Measurements: Bust: 85cm / Waist: 59cm / Hips: 88cm

A mysterious woman who governs the political and business circles of Japan behind the scenes. She is also Reeko's adoptive mother.

• Her skill allows her to be completely immune to Ron. This causes Tanuko's skill to become ineffective.

Personal Data: Age: 15 years old (3,400 years) / Height: 163cm / Weight: 45kg

Measurements: Bust: 83cm / Waist: 58cm / Hips: 87cm

The strongest mythical creature in Japan. She has been fully revived by the 9 Mystic Gems that each character possesses. She have 2 skills unlike the rest of the characters and they are:

• Summon Meteor. This skill activates when you declare a Riichi while her hand is in Noten. Restart the round from the very beginning.
• Raitei Shourai. This skill activates anytime when she's in Tenpai and only need one tile to win. This allows her to draw the winning tile immediately.

A boy with the power of clairvoyance, a reincarnation of a panda and Rin's guardian. He takes work way too seriously.

This game is released on both the Nintendo DS and the PlayStation Portable. Despite the advantages of the Nintendo DS's dual screen and touch screen, the PSP version is still superior because of the bigger screen which allows better image resolution and the size of the UMD which allows the game to become much much bigger. The PSP version features a fully voiced storyline and includes more animated scenes to enjoy.
