Heroes Phantasia: Characters Revealed!

Heroes Phantasia is an RPG, developed and published by Bandai Namco Games, scheduled to be released in Japan in 2012. It features a wide selection of characters from different titles of anime and features a battle system that looks similar to Valkyrie Profile.

  • Saya Otonashi (left)
    • An amnesiac girl with a tragic past. Wields a sword that can slay vampires.
  • Hagi (right)
    • Saya's chevalier, a bodyguard who have sworn to protect her at all cost.
  • Hei (left)
    • An elite contractor known as the "Black Reaper", he's capable of generating electricity from nothing and could even manipulate molecules.
  • Suou Pavlichenko (right)
    • A 13-year old contractor capable of manifesting a PTRD-41 anti-tank rifle. She wields it with absolute proficiency.
  • Mai Tokiha (left)
    • A highschool girl who just transferred to Fuuka Academy. She can manipulate fire and could summon Kagutsuchi, a fire-breathing dragon capable of incinerating anything in its path.
  • Natsuki Kuga (center)
    • The lone wold of Fuuka Academy. She wields two guns and could summon Duran, a mechanical dog with two large cannons attached to its sides.
  • Mikoto Minagi (right)
    • Another transfer student. She wields Miroku, a black indestructible sword that holds enormous strength.
    • Not yet confirmed to be one of the playable characters in this game but since I saw her in one of the early screen shots, I added her anyway.
  • Sergeant Keroro (left)
    • The leader of the Keroro Platoon, sent to Earth with a mission to invade the world.
  • Corporal Giroro (right)
    • The Corporal of the Keroro Platoon and their weapons specialist.
  • Orphen (left)
    • A wandering swordsman and the strongest sorcerer in the world.
  • Cleo Everlastin (center)
    • The inheritor of the Sword of Balthanders. She lets Orphen use the sword so she can tag along on his journey in exchange.
  • Majic Lin (right)
    • Orphen's apprentice and trusted comrade.
  • Yomiko Readman (left)
    • An agent of the British Library known as "The Paper". She can manipulate and influence paper, transforming them into anything she desires.
  • Nancy Makuhari (right)
    • An agent of the British Library known as "Miss Deep". She is capable of "Diving", an ability that enables her to pass through any solid objects.
  • Louie (center)
    • A member of the Magician's Guild who is famous for using brute force instead of chanting spells to solve his problems.
  • Kazuma (left)
    • The strongest native alter of the Lost Grounds and Ryuhou's greatest rival. Capable of reinforcing his right arm with alloy, he transforms it into a weapon of pure power.
  • Ryuhou (right)
    • The strongest member of HOLD and Kazuma's greatest rival. He summons and controls Zetsuei, an Alter who wields a set of elastic steel blades capable of slashing anything with absolute precision.
  • Lina Inverse (left)
    • The strongest and greediest sorceress in the world. She can destroy whole cities with just a wave of her hand and is feared throughout the continent. Despite those facts, she still saved the world quite a few times from demonic overlords.
  • Gourry Gabriev (right)
    • A wandering swordsman and Lina's partner. He wields the legendary sword of light known as the "Gorun Nova."
Of course, that's not all. Bandai Namco Games also included their own set of original characters to act as the main protagonist of the story:

  • Eiji (left)
    • Male protagonist.
  • Shinobu (right)
    • Female protagonist.
If you've played any of the Super Robot Wars titles or doujin game variants like Battle Moon Wars, then you'll be quite familiar with this kind of mixed up setting.
