Guilty Crown: Void Sampling (Ep.3)

After helping out the Undertaker in their mission to destroy the Anti-Bodies, Shu refused Gai's offer to join the rebellion. He thought that he could just go back to his peaceful life by forgetting everything but life isn't as easy as it seems and Inori was assigned to protect him. ­

A new transfer student joins the class!

Inori joins the school as a new transfer student. Shu and everyone in the class was surprised by this event as the girl was a famous singer from an online band. She was accepted by the class in just an instant and even became the class celebrity. Shu however was skeptical to her transfer and thinks that the reason probably involves him.

After school, Shu goes home and was surprised to meet Inori in his apartment, it's pretty obvious that the girl is stalking him but who wouldn't want a cute stalker like her? She changed her clothes in front of him without even feeling a bit of shyness and Funell was there to punish the anyone who peeps.

I wish I could see from Shu's point of view.

Inori told Shu why she was there, to protect him. A student from the same school was spotted near the vicinity where they destroyed the Anti-Bodies and the only way to identify the witness is through his void. Apparently, Gai has the power to see and understand the void of others and he described it to have the shape of a pair of giant scissors. If the witness identifies Shu as one of the terrorist then he's in a lot of trouble.

Fabulous Gai is fabulous.

The King's Power, the ability that allows Shu to materialized a powerful weapon known as the void. This void is the materialization of one's soul in a form of an object, hence the shape and ability varies from person to person. Not only that, when Shu uses this power, the target loses all memory of the event so it kinda works like Lelouch's power from Code Geass.

Now this is the guilt I shall adorn!

The next day, Shu and Inori searched the school for viable suspects and tried to draw out their void one by one. Unfortunately for Shu, his first subject ended up in a failure and instead of drawing the void out from her chest, he was groping them. Somebody was able to take a photo of the event and is spreading the news all over the campus. He's officially a pervert now.

I saw what you did there.

After escaping the girl he molested, he decided to test it out on a male test subject and it worked perfectly. From there, he kept drawing out the void one by one until he managed to find the right one. It was Yahiro all along. Since Yahiro is a close friend of him, he decided that it would be safe to entrust this secret to him but Shu was mistaken and was captured by the GHQ the next morning. To be continued...

Shu is an idiot for trusting people he barely even know and now he's in prison for the stupidity he committed. Oh well, I think Gai has a fabulous plan for the next episode to free him anyway so nothing's really lost. May there be more breast groping in the upcoming episodes.
