Resident Evil 6: Official Trailer Revealed!

The latest installment to Capcom's survival horror action game has finally been revealed through this trailer. Leon and Chris will be back and the game seems to be divided into three different scenarios that took place in three different places.  

Leon S. Kennedy

The American President plans to reveal information about the BOW to the world and trigger the other nations to take action and destroy the source of the virus once and for all. This made him a primary target to yet another organization that branched of from Umbrella and an attack was made. Now the whole city is infected by zombies once again, like the Raccoon City incident 10 years ago.

Helena Harper

Leon's scenario seems to be the classic survival horror genre of the game. The enemies doesn't seem to be parasite-infected people, and bares more similarities to the classic zombie types from Raccoon City. His scenario also seems to have occurred during the night making visibility low and giving it the right atmosphere for a horror game.

Ingrid Hunnigan

Hunnigan is back as Leon's operator, but his coop partner will be a new character by the name of Helena Harper. She is another secret service agent like Leon that works under the President. She blames herself for the event for some reason, so there might be more to her than meets the eye.

Chris Redfield

Chris Redfield's scenario is more like an action game than survival horror, similar to Resident Evil 5's gameplay. This story begins when a virus outbreak occurred in China and the BSAA was dispatch to clean up the mess. Enemies in this scenarios bares resemblance to the Majinis and the Ganados. Parasite-infected humans capable of using weapons to fight back.

Unknown BSAA Agent

Chris came to the scene prepared with the whole BSAA Alpha Team to suppress the outbreak, but his team got wiped out and only two of them remains. His coop partner is another BSAA agent whose name is yet to be announced. I feel kinda disappointed that he is not with his real partner, Jill Valentine, or his previous partner, Sheva Alomar. I mean, Leon and the new guy below got a lady partner. Why not Chris?

Unknown Superhuman

The third scenario involves a new character. Nothing much is known about this guy aside from what the trailer shows but fans speculates him to be Alex Wesker. From what we saw from the trailer, he fights with his superhuman strength and agility. He also seems to be in need to be injected with something regularly, so we can only assume that he needs it to regulate his powers like Albert Wesker does. His blood seems to be the key to stop the virus and he is selling it to the highest bidder.

Unknown Blonde Girl

His coop partner is an unnamed blondie. Since we don't know much about this girl, fans seems to speculate that she's Ashley Graham, the President's daughter and the girl Leon rescued during the events of Resident Evil 4.

The game is set to be release this coming November for the Play Station 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. A PC version has been announced to be released afterwards but no exact date has been confirmed. That's all for now. I can't wait to play this game.
